Description
How many ways do you know how to use Word Clouds? Come share, compare and imagine how to use this tool to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Word Clouds offer a visually engaging way to capture and share the essence of any text-based information or conversations. This session will demonstrate how to use Wordle.net to create introductory word clouds for courses and self intros and Jing to copy and share. We will then consider ways that students can use word clouds to explore readings and aid study; ways that faculty can use word clouds to prompt dialogue and summarize discussions; and other ways to present a twitter thread or other creative ideas you share. So join us to imagine the many ways that Word Clouds can contribute to learning.
NOTE: Login instructions for the session will be sent in the Registration Confirmation Email. Please check your Junk folder as sometimes these emails get trapped there. We will also send an additional login reminder 24 hours prior to the start of the event.
