Engage in conversation with fellow faculty members around the national conversation about student learning and successful completion of courses, degrees, programs. A panel of faculty members will serve as a springboard as they talk together about their (a) issues, challenges and concerns about student success and completion at their institution and (b) effective teaching and learning practices that support student success, retention and completion.
In addition, Cynthia Wilson from the League for Innovation in Community College’s will share information regarding the Faculty Voices initiative (www.league.org/facultyvoices) The project seeks to engage faculty, a missing voice, in the national conversation about completion. We will report findings from the various project activities to the field, to community college leaders, and other interested groups.
