Re-Defining Student Success

Presenter: John Sener, Founder and CKO of Sener Knowledge

We’ll examine

  • Current definitions of student success and recent pressures to re-define it;

  • Re-defining student success by broadening the definition: the why, what, and how;

  • Strategies and resources for broadening your definition of student success

  • Institutional, departmental, and individual responses

We’ll discuss these provocative questions:

  • How do you and your institution define student success?

  • Why do we need to re-define student success?

  • In what ways are changing beliefs about student success also changing faculty goals and practices for the better? For the worse?

  • How can broadening your definition of student success be rewarding for you, your students, and your institution?

NOTE:  Login instructions for the session will be sent in the Registration Confirmation Email. Please check your Junk folder as sometimes these emails get trapped there. We will also send an additional login reminder a few hours prior to the start of the event.

REALLY IMPORTANT NOTE: You can become a TLT Group Individual Member for one year for $75.  You'll be supporting just the sort of event you just registered for.  Please join us!
