Are Teaching, Learning, Technology Roundtables Still Relevant?

November 12, 2010 at 2pm EDT - free to all.

Sweet 16! This week celebrates the 16th birthday of the Teaching, Learning, Technology Roundtable. In that time, the TLT Group has helped over 500 institutions organize, launch, and support Roundtables.

But are they still relevant?   Is the Roundtable still a useful mechanism in the current climate of overabundant, underused resources combined with inadequate funding and time?

Please join Steve Gilbert in a thoughtful, open discussion about Roundtables!

If you're not sure what a Roundtable is: The TLT Roundtable is a diverse group that meets regularly, considers issues, and provides advice to the CAO, leaders, and many constituencies. Roundtables work together on educational improvements, faculty development initiatives, internal grant programs, and resources. Roundtables help institutions make better-informed decisions, sustain collaborative change, and develop better strategies for using technology to improve teaching and learning.

Don't forget that you can have a FASTPASS for the whole season's FridayLive! if you are an Individual Member or if your institution is a TLT Group subscriber.   A FASTPASS.  enables you to be automatically registered for every FridayLive! this fall.

NOTE:  Login instructions for the session will be sent in the Registration Confirmation Email. Please check your Junk folder as sometimes these emails get trapped there. We will also send an additional login reminder 24 hours prior to the start of the event.
