Description
Part 2 FridayLive! 2pmET (June 30): App-mashing “Hands-on” & Exchange
You may have already “app-smashed” without knowing it! If you used several apps in sequence to accomplish something useful that you couldn’t do otherwise, you’ve app smashed. Not sure whether you’ve done this? Wonder why you ever would? Want to see examples and learn how? Then join us 2pmET June 23 & 30 when FridayLive! will address these questions.
Session I (June 23): Getting Started w/ App-smashing: Introduction, Examples, Resources
We’ll introduce and demonstrate examples that go well beyond the “wow” factor of just using multiple apps. We’ll explain “why” and examine some “how” strategies for App-smashing in courses and faculty development. We’ll recommend app-smashing resources, and invite volunteers to develop their own projects in preparation for Session II...or think about sharing things they have already done.
Session II (June 30): App-smashing “Hands-on” and Exchange
We’ll be “playing” with some app-smashing. And we’ll encourage exchange of experiences by app-smashing among participants. Finally, we’ll discuss strategies for App-smashing. Come ready to “play”!
