Description
We are back on track after a little detour over the summer. As a TLTG member you are invited to contribute programming ideas and catch up.
We have created a table titled "Favorite Principles, Practices, Strategies for Improving Teaching and Learning" and would like your input in identifying 2 or 3 you would recommend most to colleagues? Especially to colleagues who are NOT YET widely recognized for their effective use of “new” improvements in teaching and learning? Take a look. We will discuss and vote during the session. Also, related to the list of principles, here's a very brief survey about Instructional Bottlenecks - your responses will help focus the session Sept 22.
We would also like to know what you think about this book "How We Learn: Throw out the rule book and unlock your brain’s potential" by Benedict Carey. This link will take you to a review & summary of the book.
In addition, we will share how you can access the Expertiza, application and experiment with this student peer assessment system.
NOTE: Login instructions for the session will be sent in the Registration Confirmation Email. Please check your Junk folder as sometimes these emails get trapped there. We will also send an additional login reminder 24 hours prior to the start of the event.
