Description
Perhaps the greatest challenge for faculty teaching online is time. A plethora of available instructional options (facilitating discussions, grading, feedback, content development, one-to-one communication, etc.) combined with the ubiquity, variety, and fluidity of resources for online courses can frustrate and overwhelm faculty and their students.
This session offers practical strategies for utilizing technology to prioritize teaching tasks, streamline repetitive activities, and foster more meaningful student interaction… all without further burdening faculty workload. We will explore (discuss, model, demonstrate) how to use technology to increase the efficiency and quality of meaningful/thoughtful online teaching and learning.
